Short and sweet [13 Sep 2005|11:14pm]
Well well, I'm back again.

Not written in this thing for a while because I'v not been feeling to great as of late. Anyway, I'm just back from seeing The Man, a film starring Samuel L Jackson and "the dad from american pie," Eugene Levy. Personally I thought the film was gonna be funny, not seen much promotion going on for it. I'll keep it as short as possible, the film was crap. Emma fell asleep during it, and I almost joined her, only thing that kept me awake was the temperature in the screen, I was freezing.

Seen a few other films the passed couple weeks, namely 40 Year Old Virgin and The Longest Yard. Two of the funniest films I'v seen. I can't be bothered writing much more because I'm really in a funny place right now, the whole relationship thing messing with my head.

I'm going out tomorrow night (Wednesday), dunno where to but it's gotta be cheap seeing its the first day of freshers week(s), so my college class is heading to town. Working thursday. Friday night I don't know yet but I'll probably have some time to myself at last. And then back to work for Sat/Sun.

Hmmmmmmm [04 Sep 2005|08:55pm]

Your Birthdate: December 16
Your birth on the 16th day of the month gives a sense of loneliness and generally the desire to work alone.
You are relatively inflexible, and insist on your being independent.
You need a good deal of time to rest and to meditate.

You are introspective and a little stubborn. Because of this, it may not be easy for you to maintain permanent relationships, but you probably will as you are very much into home and family.
This birth day inclines to interests in the technical, the scientific, and to the religious or the unknown realm of spiritual explorations.

The date gives you a tendency to seek unusual approaches and makes your style seem a little different and unique to those around you.
Your intuition is aided by the day of your birth, but most of your actions are bedded in logic, responsibility, and the rational approach.
You may be emotional, but have a hard time expressing these emotions. Because of this, there may be some difficulty in giving or receiving affection.

Explains a lot actually. I'm lonely, having trouble with the lady friend, hopefully
things will get better soon :(

And how did my day off go? Shit. Firstly Emma txt's me saying she's busy all day so we won't be going to the cinema, I suppose I deserve it. So I started fannying about on the PC changnig my LJ style and mucking about with some designs of my own, you unlucky people won't be seeing the full glory of my beautiful website because you have to point to here, look around my shit if u want, loads of arty farty stuff on there, specifically my "design" folder. So yeah back to my day... 5pm came, everyone's too busy to do anything so I'm still sitting here in my boxers I was wearing last night. Anyway I get my car back tomorrow after college so I can get out and about again.

In the meantime, I'v decided to compose a list of my most listened to tunes in the passed few weeks. Here's how it goes:

1. Filter - Hey Man, Nice Shot
2. Skindred - Pressure
3. The Veronicas - 4Ever
4. Foo Fighters - Best of You
5. Hell is for Heroes - You Drove Me To It
6. Metallica - Astronomy
7. The Exies - What You Deserve
8. Coldplay - Fix You
10. Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc.

Oh and yeah, You know how I know you're gay? Go see The 40 year Old Virgin, funniest film this year.

Free time! Too late [03 Sep 2005|03:15pm]
Saturday morning, oh joy. Had to ake my dad up at 10 so he could tow my car down the road, he almost tore off the bumper coz he's so hasty with the accelerator. Got to the garage easily, dumped the car at the front and probably won't see it until a new clutch is fitted, guy said most probably Monday.

So now I'm working tonight on the close till about 2am, missing a big nightout in the Dreadnaught where most of the folk going are saying thir goodbyes before they jet off to dundee/stirling/aberdeen for uni. I only found out I'm working tonight, yesterday, how crap is that. On top of that, it's the first time "people I know" have been free to go out in the passed week, now I'm annoyed. More about my work, I work in The Vue, if anyone wants to see free films get in touch :P Oh and they're looking for staff now, (BARRY!) so hurry if you want a job with great peeps. On the other and the pay is shit and the managers a compelete dick, ain't that the same in every part-time job?

Oh well, I need the money, turns out I can claim back about 2 grand because I'v been paying too much tax through some 0BRX Basic Tax Rate thing for the passed 3 years, who am I to complain :D I need the money anyway, I'v still to pay my mum back for Blackpool and to pay for my new clutch.

......... Wasting 5 hours before going to work is so stressful, finding stuff to do and then figuring out youve got fuck all time to do it in. Bleh. Come on MSN Barry.

I LOVE Pete Doherty [02 Sep 2005|11:41pm]
MY OH MY, why are there so many Pete Doherty fanboys out there? I think I'm missing something here, someone better tell me whats going on with this guy, why's he always in the news? why do so many people worship this guy? He doesn't deserve any praise whatsoever, he's done jail time, he snorts cocaine, he's always whinging, and he thinks he's some high and mighty rockstar?! Charlotte Church is now my best buddy;

Speaking to Marie Claire, Church ranted: "He thinks no one understands him but of course we all do. You're just being a w**ker. Go home."

Directed at Pete Doherty btw, haha! It was a close call between her and Johnny Borrell for decking the cunt at Leeds festival. Up yours Pete Doherty.

I'v already been to my new college class twice, I'll tell you how my latest day went; Third day in my new college class, getting to know everyone a bit better and theres not as many awkward silences in my class. For once in my life I feel like the most confident person in the room since I'm the only one with the balls to start any conversation with people. Weird. One dudes a total hippy, don't get the hair thing. Another guys a dumb asian guy, fuck knows how he got in the class. There's some clown who managed to fail introdutory units in the HND last year and has to resit them this year, haha. Then theres the people I like, two guys who just came fresh from some posh school in Edinburgh, coolest people around, shame freshers is in 2 weeks and they've only just turned 17. Then theres the two slightly older guys who I think are the guys I'll get on with most, one guy is from dundee and the others some guy who's been doing graphic design for the passed few years.

Once I got home from college, had about 30mins before I had to get to work so got my shit together asap, started the car and drove down the street. First corner I came to my clutch cable snapped. Fuck. I swear to god I'm the unluckiest guy on the planet, my car was already booked into the garage for tomorrow morning. Got to work, had fun, came home, wrote this, Fin.

PS. My heart goes out to Harvinder and his family, doctors can no longer help his father and he's been given days to live. Fuck Pete Doherty. Fuck Cancer.

Happy days lad [30 Aug 2005|12:59pm]
Got back from Blackpool on Saturday mid-day, day early but seeing Bazza was ill we called it quits (just aswell coz I was broke). Excellent holiday. We ended up going to the pleasure beach for 2 days and must have went on everything at least twice. Tango ice blast was class, had to go on it about 5 times to settle down :p. We only managed to go on Pepsi Max once due to the massive queues and the place closing every 10mins due to high winds. I felt pretty bad with one of us not being able to go on the rides, even when someone says theyre fine I still feel bad, dunno why :/ We all managed to go in the Tunnel of Love though, queue Val Venis music Ohhh Yeahh!

When we weren't at the Pleasure Beach we strolled up the street to North shore, I'd say we covered about 15miles walking back and forth for 3 days or so. There's so muh to do in Blackpool, I hadn't actually realised that until a few days into the holiday. Still no clue where all my money went. Up the road we went to some various exhibitions, Ripley's Beleive It Or Not!, Madame Tussaude's Waxworks, the Sea Life Centre and a Doctor Who exhibition. Have to say the Waxworks was better than what I expected, especially the horror movie character rooms.

We never went out many nights, which was disappointing because I thought that's why we were heading down there, but nevermind. Wednesday ngiht was empty in this 80's bar which I thought was boring, on top of that noone was in the mood for drinking. Couple of other nights we went to some shows in the Pleasure Beach which were amazing, well worth the £30 all day pass. And on the last night we ended up going to err............ yeah and back to the 80's bar we went, some advice, don't let Jonesy buy drinks. I can't remmber getting home that night :(

Sore stomach in the morning, drove home, The End.
